I know, they got married like nearly four months ago...but I got behind on blogging.
Mark & Hillary, Samuel & I, Daniel and Andrew rode up together to Nebraska for Samuel and Hannah's wedding. Those were some crazy fun car rides!!! We drove through the night Thursday night and got to the Abel's and William's, who were putting us up for the weekend, about 5am. We were able to say hi to Mr. Abel before he headed out to Arkansas to go hog hunting while eating some delicious pancakes Mrs. Abel made us. Then we all crashed till about 10. Hillary was going out to lunch with a friend, but the rest of us headed over to the Gradys so the guys could help pack Hannah's things in a U-haul.
After lunch, we headed over to the church to help the Hutchins get set up for the rehearsal dinner
This is what I did - filled the jello cups :)

The dinner was delicious!!!
We were just a little tired......
They had a game for the bridesmaids and groomsmen answering questions about Samuel and Hannah
Since the guys were still down the best man, they allowed the ushers to help...but they were still short some Grady know-how...they did very well though, and only came in one behind the girls...and everyone had a grand time, which is the most important thing!!!

We left bright and early Sunday morning to head back to the land of the armadillo
In the middle of Oklahoma, Okmulgee, to be exact, we stopped at a gas station to fill up, and I looked over across a field, and there was what looked like a small campfire. I didn't think much of it, just that that was a weird place to put a campfire, behind a hotel. Then I glanced over a little later, and realized it was a grass fire, and told Andrew he might want to go over and check it out. When the wind picked up, it started growing pretty fast, so he stopped at a puddle to take off his t-shirt, dipped it in, and took off running pulling out his cell phone to call 911, Daniel took off as well, while Hillary and I watched. Mark and Samuel were filling up. The fire department showed up pretty quickly, apparently someone had already called and they were on the way. Didn't take long to put out, but in the meantime, Daniel's cell phone had come out of his holder, so we went back out and called it, and amazingly found it!
That made for a nice break in the driving, but the car smelt like BBQ the rest of the way home... :)
looking for Daniel's phone
While we were looking for D's phone, Andrew found a small log that was still smoldering, so he picked it up and put it in the puddle so it wouldn't start it up again
The two heroes :)
Somewhere along the lllloooooonnnnnggggggg Indian Turnpike there was a beautiful sunset! :)
