It started with a call from our Brother-in-law saying that we had a new niece, Bella Grace!!!
Then, we went out to breakfast with some friends, Mark and Hillary who were visiting from NE, and heard that they're expecting their first baby!!! Soooo excited for them! I left the camera in the truck, so I didn't get a picture of us....
Then, one of Samuel's friends from way back, Luke Potts, got married in Belton, so we made the 2 1/2 hr drive down to witness it.
unfortunately, I left the camera bag in the car during the ceremony...a bad habit of mine...but I remembered it during the reception, which was at a restaurant called the 'Dead Fish Grill' on the shore of Lake Belton :)

visiting with the newly weds
On the way home, while we were cruising down the highway, there was suddenly a bump, and then a rattle, and then lots of vibrations....so Sam pulled over, and saw that something, I don't remember what, but a bearing of some sort had fallen off! We called the other car, which was a few min ahead of us, and they stopped at a O'Rielly's, got the part, and rented the tools needed to fix it!
Andrew, Dad, and Sam
We were literally in the middle of nowhere somewhere between Waco and Waxahachie...
My husband is pretty awesome with fixing things!!!
Us girls sat in the van while they worked...
After returning the tools to O'Rielly's, we went to Jack-in-the-box for supper
after a long day, this sign was very funny.....
Oh, were we glad to see the Dallas skyline at about 9 that night.....
