Our Newsletter for 2015

Dear friends and family,

Hope this finds you all well!

Here is 2015 in overview:

January - A new neice was born, Adelle Jean Benner, so we made a quick trip up to St. Louis to meet her. Emma also started walking, and Esther started working a few hours a week doing book work for her dad's business.

Febuary - Samuel turned 24, We put a down payment down on a 38 foot 5th wheel RV and started getting rid of stuff preparing to move into it.

March - We moved into the RV, we celebrated our 2nd anniversary, Emma turned one, Esther turned 24, and we had some snow! :)

April - We found out that we were having a little girl and surprised all the family when we told them! It was also a very wet and rainy spring, so we lived in boots and umbrellas, and I was very thankful for the cooler weather!

May - Getting ready for Corrie's arrival....and rain, rain and more rain!

June - Samuel started doing EMT school in the evenings(and sometimes all night), Our beautiful Cornelia Grace was born, and we became parents squared! Corrie is named after two very special ladies: my mother and Corrie Ten Boom.

July - Learning how to be a good mother to two babies.

August - Pretty much more of the same....I am so very thankful for my mother and mother-in-law for helping out with cleaning, grocery shopping, and so many other things while I was recovering and while Sam was in EMT school!!!

September - Samuel finished EMT school and passed the national registry!!!!!!! We went on a weekend camping trip with Mark, Hillary, and Katie in Mineral Wells...So much fun and relaxing! We also flew up to Pennsylvania for Samuel's Cousin's wedding.

October - We went down to Galveston with Esther's family for a long weekend. Emma LOVED the water!!!

November - Esther was able to witness Hillary's birth of Weldon, We also traveled up to St. Louis for thanksgiving, getting to spend some wonderful time with the Benners

December - We were sick most of the first part of the month, but we still had a wonderful time with family around the holidays. Corrie also started crawling at only 5 1/2 months! She trys so hard to keep up with her big sister! She also is pulling up on things already..... :) Emma is starting to string words together, and loves to sneak up, pounce and tickle us! She also loves reading to Corrie. It's been really fun to watch them together the last few months, as they have started interacting much more, playing chase with each other and having jibber jabber conversations. :)

If there is one thing this 2015 taught me, it's that I am not in control, and I'm learning more and more to fully trust God with what is going to happen, and lean on God for even the little, day-to-day things! :)

I hope you all have a blessed and happy 2016!!!

Love in Christ,

Samuel, Esther, Emma and Corrie

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whoses hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yeilding fruit.
~Jeremiah 17:7-8~
